Vahideh has worked as a mental health and addiction clinician in New Zealand and as a Clinical Psychologist overseas for more than 10 years. Vahideh has done comprehensive training in evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has also done some training in Psychodrama and Using Small Figures. Vahideh works collaboratively with her clients to find the approach most suited to their needs.

Alongside her private work, Vahideh works as a Health Improvement Practitioner at a GP practice in Ōtautahi/Christchurch, providing mental health support in a Primary Health setting.

Vahideh speaks both English and Farsi/Persian languages.
