Susan's skills include engaging with individuals, families and groups from all walks of life.

Susan is committed to providing a safe and transparent service to her clients and supports this through regular supervision and professional development.

Her experience includes a range of social work roles such as providing home based parenting support, group work for non-custodial parents, group work for foster parents caring for traumatised children, working collaboratively with other professionals from across the community and statutory services in complex family systems and recognising gaps in service provision and working with services to meet the need.

Susan’s passion is to work with an individual to find their strengths and make the change they can imagine.

Susan is a qualified, Registered, Social Worker with 18 years working in the community.

She graduated with a National Diploma of Social Work in 2002, from ARA Institute Canterbury.

She holds a current Practicing Certificate through The Social Work Registration Board (SWRB).

She is a long-term member of the Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers (ANZASW)
