Marcel has worked as an individual, couple, and family counsellor, residential care worker, and group leader in various settings over the last twenty five years. This includes work as a Family Counsellor at the Campbell Centre, Presbyterian Support, Christchurch, running Stopping Violence Programmes at SVS, and providing sexual abuse counselling for children, adolescents, and adults at START, Christchurch, for six years.

Marcel is a Psychodramatist (cert. 2018), Psychotherapist and Counsellor, and works in private practise from the Somerfield Centre. He works with adults (18+) and has a particular interest in couple counselling.

Marcel has also been running Psychodrama groups for men (‘Men Building Relationships’) annually since 2013.
