Tania Metherell is a registered social worker with 13 years’ experience. After gaining a Diploma in Social Services from CPIT, she worked in a statutory agency. Almost three years later she moved to a non-government agency, where she has been for the last 10 years, working firstly as a social worker in schools, and now in a part-time position working mainly with children and their families as a Family Worker.

Tania has also completed the Diploma in Child & Adolescent Psychology through Open Polytechnic, and has gained further knowledge through short courses, including attachment theory-therapy and Family Therapy. Tania loves working with children but enjoys working alongside adults as well, and it is important to her to create respectful, trusting and therapeutic relationships with clients.
