Work History
Annette has worked in private practice as a clinical hypnotherapist from 2006 – 2011 at the Caledonian Clinic, Papanui Road, Christchurch, moving to Australia in 2011 post earthquake. She also practiced Hypnotherapy whilst in Brisbane at the Sleeman Sports Centre until 2014.
Having completed her Master’s Degree in Counselling in Brisbane, Annette returned to Christchurch in 2015, where she took up a position working for the Alcohol & Drug Association New Zealand as a brief intervention counsellor in 2015; transitioning in this role to Odyssey House, Christchurch later that year. Annette became the Clinical Coordinator for the Community Brief Intervention Alcohol & Drug Service at Christchurch Central Services for a period of 3 years until September 2020.
Since this time Annette has been working with the Christchurch City Mission Alcohol & Other Drug Service as an Alcohol and Drug Counsellor and Clinical Case Manager, concurrently working in private practice part-time for the last two years as a counsellor, hypnotherapist, clinical supervisor and providing counselling through ACC sensitive claims.

Masters of Counselling with distinction (Queensland University of Technology)
Post Graduate Certificate in Health Science: Addiction and Co-existing Disorders (Otago University)
Bachelor of Business Studies degree (Massey University)
Diploma of Advanced Hypnotherapy (Alpha Hypnosis, Auckland)
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner.
